Fluorescence Quantum Yield of HCO upon photolysis of H2CO by
simultaneous LIF and DFWM spectroscopy in a molecular beam apparatus
A Gaussian fit procedure is applied on the DFWM
and LIF spectra to yield the two traces labeled FIT
(DFWM) and FIT (LIF). The relative quantum yield of the probed qR0(0) fragment transition (NO=0, KaO=0) is obtained by dividing the LIF
areas by the square root of the DFWM areas. The result is convoluted by a Lorentzian profile to obtain relative fluorescence quantum
yields.
